Estimates, repair orders, text updates, parts inventory and a customer portal in one browser-based system for independent shops across the United States. You set the sales tax rates; filing stays with your accountant.
The actual Quotes screen: every estimate in one list, filtered by status, with the AI analysis a click away.
Running a shop on a stack of apps slows everyone down. Bays, estimates and revenue in a single view.
Every diagnosis starts from zero, and a driver who waits too long for a number takes the car to another shop.
Nobody follows up after the estimate goes out, so approvals slip away while a bay sits empty.
Sales tax, bookkeeping, filing deadlines and one more monthly software bill. None of it fixes cars.
Everything between the first call and the paid invoice works in a US shop the way it does everywhere else Promec runs: estimates, scheduling, the tech app, inventory, customer texting, and invoices in US dollars with the tax rates you enter.
Promec does not connect to the IRS or to any state tax department, and it does not prepare sales tax returns. Filing integration exists today in only five countries: Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. We would rather you learn that on this page than after you sign up.
Phone call, check-in, approval, repair, payment: each step is logged on the same repair order instead of across five screens.
Enter what the driver describes or pull the trouble codes, and the AI proposes the probable repair and prices it with your labor rate, your parts pricing and your own catalog.
Send text messages, emails or WhatsApp right from the repair order. Every customer gets a status link where they can review the work and approve it on their phone.
Each invoice uses your numbering and the sales tax rates you configure, and every sale and expense lands in the ledger as it happens. Promec does not file sales tax returns with any state, so that part stays with your accountant or tax software.
Promec translates OBD-II trouble codes into plain language, tracks your new and used parts inventory and keeps service procedures within reach of every tech.
Schedule appointments, drag work between bays on the planner and see real productivity for every tech. Techs update their jobs from a phone.
You get these whichever of the three plans you pick.
Shop calls run through the software, so none disappear into voicemail limbo and each conversation is summarized on the customer file.
Drivers handle their own drop-off while your team keeps working.
Campaigns pull from the customers and vehicles you already have on file, with nothing extra to import.
Punch in, request time off and keep employee records next to the work orders.
Fear of a messy changeover is what keeps most shops on old software. Built-in training takes most of that worry away.
The metrics an owner watches, plus a clear trail of who changed what.
Punching in, vehicle photos, work notes and signatures happen right at the vehicle. Each update refreshes the status page your customer is checking.
Every driver gets a private link with job status, the estimate waiting for approval, invoices and documents, plus live video from the shop floor.
Running a repair shop in the US means dealing with rules that change at the state line. Sales tax is the obvious one: there is no national sales tax, and state and local governments set their own. Promec doesn't guess those rates for you. You enter the ones that apply where your shop operates, and every invoice uses them.
Vehicle inspections vary the same way. Federal Clean Air Act amendments set emissions testing requirements for certain areas, and states build their own programs around them, so a shop in one metro area may test cars daily while a shop elsewhere never does. Promec keeps a due date on each vehicle and reminds the owner, whatever the program is called where you are.
What Promec won't do is file anything for you: no sales tax returns, no IRS forms, no state inspection reporting. Those stay with your accountant and the systems your state requires.

Customers sign in to add their vehicles, review past repairs and get a heads-up when maintenance is due. The next appointment comes from people who already know your shop.
Requests from your site come in with the vehicle and the problem described, ready to estimate.
The AI sends a price back before the driver has finished calling around.
Oil change, scheduled maintenance or state inspection: reminders bring the car back without anyone dialing.
Each finished job triggers a review request, so more local drivers can find your shop online.
Check with us whether it's live in your region; where it is, we can switch on a regular stream of retail customers who need work done near your shop. You choose which jobs to take and at what price, rather than depending on insurance or fleet contracts.

Customer, vehicle and repair history are imported while you keep billing in your old system.
We load your labor rates and the AI writes a real estimate.
Drivers begin checking status and approving repairs from their phones.
Automatic estimates and follow-up texts are part of the daily routine.
Export what your current system allows and we import it for you. Keep billing in the old software until you've confirmed everything came across.
Data transfer may carry additional costs depending on the source system and data volume. See terms.
Start with 3 months for €1 and cancel whenever you like from your subscription area. Pick your billing cycle above.
Prices exclude VAT, for businesses and self-employed. €1 in total for the first 3 months, taxes included. From the fourth month the chosen plan is billed automatically. No lock-in: you can cancel before that date. You also have a 15-day money-back withdrawal right. Calls and WhatsApp usage are billed separately.
Think of the modules as the clipboards, whiteboards and spreadsheets your shop runs on today, rebuilt around a single repair order. Below is what each one does and the information it asks for up front.
The service advisor starts the RO from the plate or VIN, notes the customer's concern, the odometer reading and the vehicle's condition, and adds photos from a phone. Parts ordered, time logged and customer approvals all attach to that RO, so the history doesn't live in anyone's head. You'll need: plate, VIN, billing contact and your hourly labor rate.
An estimate is built from labor operations and parts lines, then texted or emailed with a link to approve or decline. Approved work becomes the job with no re-entry, and the final invoice is generated from the closed RO using your numbering and the tax rates you set. You'll need: invoice numbering, the tax rates for your location, labor rates by job type and accepted payment methods.
Each part number has a shelf location, cost, retail price and reorder point. Assigning a part to a job deducts it from inventory, and anything below its reorder point goes on the purchase list. Vendor invoices are matched to purchase orders, so you can tell what's been paid, what's on backorder and what's been gathering dust. You'll need: a parts list with cost and price, your vendors and one physical count.
Appointments are assigned to a bay and a tech with an estimated duration, which shows whether tomorrow really has capacity before an advisor promises a same-day turnaround. Online appointment requests land on the same schedule, and vehicles waiting on parts stay visible without tying up a bay. You'll need: bay count, shop hours, techs and typical times for your common jobs.
Customers get a message when the estimate is ready, when the work starts and when the vehicle is ready for pickup, by the method they picked. Maintenance and inspection reminders go out before the due date, and every message is kept on the customer file. You'll need: phone and email the customer agreed to, plus inspection or service due dates.
Sales by period, gross profit split between labor and parts, estimate closing ratio, bay utilization and job mix are all built from ROs already in the system. They help answer whether your labor rate covers your costs and which parts carry too thin a margin. You'll need: nothing beyond daily use.
Send the export your current shop software can produce. We merge duplicate customers and tidy parts that were entered several different ways, then load everything into a review environment where you confirm invoice numbers and inventory before going live. You set up bays, rates and user permissions, run new invoices through Promec while the old system stays read-only for reference, and each role (advisors, techs, office) is trained separately on your own data. Your records can be exported whenever you want, including if you cancel.
It applies the rates you configure to each invoice, but it does not file returns. There is no national sales tax in the United States; sales taxes are imposed mainly by state and local governments, so choosing the rates and filing belong to you or your accountant. Direct tax-authority integration currently exists only in Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
Yes, as a due date. Record the next inspection or emissions test date on the vehicle and Promec sends the reminder. Whether a car needs testing depends on the state and, for emissions, on the area: the Clean Air Act requirements apply to certain areas, not the whole country. Your state's motor vehicle agency has the rules.
No. Your first three months cost €1. After that you can cancel from your subscription area at any time, and there's a 15-day money-back window.
The Promec price list is published in euros. The invoices you send your customers use the currency you configure, US dollars included.
Send us the export your system can produce: customers, vehicles, estimates and invoices. Our team cleans and imports it. Inbound migration is included; unusual source systems or very large volumes can carry extra cost, as the terms explain.
No. Promec runs in any web browser, and techs install it on their phones like an app. Users and vehicles are unlimited.
The Premium plan includes the WhatsApp Business API and built-in calling. The messages and minutes you actually use are billed separately.
3 months for €1, no long-term contract, a 15-day money-back window and free data import.
