Estimates, job cards, spare parts, MOT and service reminders and customer messages in one program, for independent garages from Nicosia to Paphos. VAT goes on each invoice line in euros. The return is prepared outside Promec, which has no link to the Cyprus Tax Department.
The Quotes screen as a Cyprus garage would use it: estimates by status, searched by registration number, each with its AI analysis.
A garage held together by a notebook and a few apps loses jobs. Ramps, staff and takings side by side.
Every fault means pricing labour and parts all over again, and a driver kept waiting rings the next garage.
The estimate goes out, the customer goes quiet and the follow-up call never gets made.
Invoices, supplier bills, VAT records and one more subscription. All of it is time taken away from the cars.
A garage in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca or Paphos gets the same chain of work in Promec: the car booked in, the estimate, the mechanic's phone app, spare parts, messages to the driver and an invoice in euros showing your VAT number and the rate on each line.
Promec does not connect to the Tax Department of the Republic of Cyprus. It files no VAT return and sends no invoice to the authority, so the return stays in your accounting software or with your accountant. A direct tax-authority link exists in Promec only for Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
From the first phone call to the paid invoice, every step sits on one job record.
The AI takes what the driver describes, or the OBD codes from the car, works out the likely fault and prices it with your labour rate and parts.
WhatsApp Business API, SMS and email all go out from the job. The customer opens a progress page to follow the repair and approve it from a phone.
Invoices carry your VAT number, run in numbered series and apply whichever VAT rate you set on each line. Income and expenses are recorded alongside. Nothing is sent to the Cyprus Tax Department: the return is done in your accounting software or by your accountant.
It reads the car's OBD codes and explains them, tracks stock of new and second-hand spares, and keeps your technical documents within reach.
Plan the day in the diary, share the jobs across the ramps, shift them on the board when one overruns, and see what each mechanic really gets done. Mechanics update jobs from their phones.
You get all of it on every one of the three plans.
The garage's calls are handled inside Promec. Nothing gets lost, and each call ends up as a short summary on the customer's record.
The driver books the car in while your team stays on the job.
It is not an extra: campaigns run from the customers and cars already in Promec.
Clocking in, days off and employee records sit next to the jobs.
Fear of the changeover is what keeps most garages on old software. Training built into the program takes the edge off it.
The numbers an owner looks at, plus a record of who changed what.
MOT. In Cyprus vehicles are subject to a periodic roadworthiness test under the Road Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works. It is carried out at technical inspection centres, and the Department authorises and supervises the private ones (known as IKTEO). The Department also says that road tax can be renewed if the vehicle has a valid MOT test certificate. That makes the MOT a predictable reason for a car to reach a garage. Promec stores the due date on each vehicle, sends the reminder, and turns whatever the test finds into an estimate on the same record.
VAT. VAT is administered by the Tax Department of the Ministry of Finance under the VAT Law 95(I)/2000, as amended. Businesses registered for VAT issue VAT invoices and submit their returns electronically to the Tax Department. In Promec every invoice line carries the rate you choose, and the totals go into your records. The return itself is still made outside Promec, since there is no connection to the Tax Department.
Data protection. Cyprus applies the EU GDPR together with Law 125(I)/2018, and the supervisory authority is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection. Reminders in Promec go only to customers who agreed to them, and every message is kept on file.

Clocking in, photos of the car, the job report and the signature all happen beside the vehicle. Each step refreshes the progress page that the customer is looking at.
The customer gets a personal link showing repair status, the estimate to accept, documents and live video from the garage camera.
Each customer logs in, adds their cars, looks at earlier work and receives a message before the next service or MOT falls due. Bookings come from people who have already used your garage.
A website visitor sends their car and the fault, and it arrives as a request ready to price.
The AI comes back with a price while the driver is still phoning around.
A service, an oil change or an MOT coming due: a reminder brings the car back to you.
A request for a review follows each job, helping drivers nearby find your garage.
Ask us whether it is running in Cyprus. If it is, we can switch on automatic requests from private motorists near you who need a repair. You choose which jobs to take, and at what price, instead of depending on insurers or fleet contracts.

Customers, cars and repair history are loaded for you, and invoices keep going out.
We enter your hourly rate and the AI drafts a real estimate.
Drivers follow their repair and approve extra work from a phone.
AI estimates and WhatsApp follow-ups are up and running.
Send us the export from what you use today and our team loads it into Promec. Your old program can carry on invoicing until you have checked that everything has arrived.
Data transfer may carry additional costs depending on the source system and data volume. See terms.
Begin with 3 months for €1 and cancel at any time from your subscription area. Choose the billing cycle above.
Prices exclude VAT, for businesses and self-employed. €1 in total for the first 3 months, taxes included. From the fourth month the chosen plan is billed automatically. No lock-in: you can cancel before that date. You also have a 15-day money-back withdrawal right. Calls and WhatsApp usage are billed separately.
Each module takes over a job that is done today on paper, in a spreadsheet or from memory. This is what it handles and what you need to have ready.
Type the registration number and the job card opens, with the driver's complaint, the mileage, how the car arrived and photos taken on a phone. Parts ordered, hours worked and approvals from the customer are all attached to that card, so nothing depends on whoever took the keys. Have ready: registration numbers, the chassis number where you have it, billing details for each customer and your labour rate per hour.
An estimate is built from labour lines and parts lines and sent with a link that the customer uses to accept or decline. Once accepted, it becomes the job without anyone retyping it. The invoice comes from the finished job, in your numbered series, with your VAT number and the VAT rate chosen on each line. Promec does not send anything to the Tax Department, and the VAT return is prepared in your accounting software or by your accountant. Have ready: your invoice series, the VAT rates you use, rates by type of job and how customers usually pay.
Every part is stored with its shelf, buying price, selling price and minimum level, new or second-hand. Fitting a part to a job takes it out of stock, and dropping under the minimum adds it to the order list. Supplier delivery notes are checked against what you ordered, including parts that come from overseas, so you can tell what has been paid, what has not arrived and what is gathering dust. Have ready: a parts list with prices, your suppliers and a single stock count.
Each booking is placed on a ramp with a mechanic and an expected time, which shows whether there is really room before you promise a car for Thursday. Bookings made on your website land in the same diary, and cars waiting for a part remain visible without blocking a ramp. Have ready: the number of ramps, opening hours, your mechanics and how long your usual jobs take.
The driver hears when the estimate is ready, when the repair begins and when the car can be collected, on the channel they chose. Reminders for the next service and for the MOT are sent ahead of the date you have recorded, and each message is kept on the customer's record. Have ready: phone numbers and emails that customers have agreed you may use, and the MOT date of each car.
Invoiced amounts by period, margin split between labour and parts, estimates sent against estimates accepted, ramp use and the mix of jobs, all taken from records you have already made. They answer two practical questions: does your hourly rate cover what the garage costs, and which part are you buying dear and selling cheap? Have ready: nothing extra.
You send whatever export your present program can produce. We clean it up first, for example a customer entered twice or a part with three names, and load it into a trial copy for you to inspect. Then you set up ramps, labour rates, invoice series and who is allowed to do what. For the first days, invoice in Promec and leave the old program for looking things up. Reception, mechanics and office staff are trained separately, on your own jobs. Your data can be exported whenever you wish, including if you leave.
No. Promec has no link to the Tax Department of the Republic of Cyprus and submits nothing to it. It issues invoices with your VAT number and the rate you choose on each line, and keeps the sales and expense records behind them. The return is prepared in your accounting software or by your accountant. Only Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia have a direct tax-authority link in Promec today.
Whichever you set up in the program. VAT rates are fixed by law and the Tax Department publishes the current list, so we do not print figures here. Which rate applies to a given repair or part is for you or your accountant to decide.
Yes. Record the MOT date on the vehicle and Promec sends the customer a reminder ahead of it, on the channel they agreed to. The Road Transport Department states that road tax can be renewed if the vehicle has a valid MOT test certificate, so the reminder is useful to the driver as well as to your bookings.
Promec processes personal data under the GDPR. Your garage is the controller of its own customers' data and has its own duties under the GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018, supervised by the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection. Messages go only to contacts who agreed to receive them, and each one is logged.
Yes. The Promec price list is in euros, the currency your garage already invoices in.
No. The first three months cost €1, you can cancel from your subscription area whenever you like, and you have a 15-day right to withdraw and be refunded.
